How it works

How it works

  • Any organisation can donate their goods through Giving World. Unfortunately we cannot accept donations from individuals.
  • Donations should be new and unused, except for furniture, IT equipment and multiple-use medical equipment, which must be in good, working condition.
  • Items will be passed on to help disadvantaged people and people in need via our network of registered charities, community groups, and statutory/not-for-profit organisations. Each of these organisations will have passed a security check.
  • Items will NEVER be sold on or used for fundraising purposes – only used for distribution to people in need or for the charity's own use.

How to donate

  • Register your organisation and activate your account.
  • Log in to your account.
  • Click the 'add new items' link on the left hand navigation.
  • Complete the Business Donation form and upload your donation.

You will be able to review requests for your items through email, accepting or refusing the requests. Once you have accepted a request, the charity will contact you to arrange collection (the charity will be responsible for collection and transportation).

If you have a large volume of goods and/or have a strict deadline for disposal, please get in touch with us. We offer a range of special services to help redistribute your goods to charities, quickly and efficiently.
